March 8th, 2020.
It was specifically 8:00 am in the morning, where I only had 5 minutes to get dressed, brush my teeth and sprint to my first class of the day. However, by that time, I was still bed and still thinking it was still 7:00 am as I did not realize it was the day we had to save our daylights.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but every year when the Daylight Savings Time occurs, my body feels really sore, and still way too tired to do anything, but to lie on my bed. However, even if I was frustrated about daylight savings time, I was seriously annoyed that it was March 8th specifically. Every year, when March 8th comes around, every single thing, even the slightest, makes me miserable.
For example, two years ago, when it was March 8th, 2018 I truly forgot to finish it on time because I was planning to finish it by 6:00 in the morning. Apparently, due to daylight savings time, I didn’t realize that the time I thought would be 6:00 turned out to be 7:00 when the assignment was specifically due. This is why for the first time in my life I have gotten 50.5/100, which I am highly not proud to talk about.
This is not the only reason why I hate daylight savings time. It feels like whenever this specific event starts, it feels like somebody is stealing my time away from me. It feels like they are stealing my few minutes of more sleep, and my time to watch more Instagram at night, where I don’t have to feel guilty about sleeping early.
So … as I continue my story on March 8th, 2020, I rushed to the school and missed the first half of the class where my teacher was talking about the draft of what our final test will look like. On top of that, I missed my assignment that was worth 80% of my grade, and just realized that there is a physics unit test in my next class with 3 pages of essay about Quantum Mechanics on the back.
I knew this day wouldn’t go according to my plan, but still … This is the worst March 8th I have experienced in my entire life. However, even if I was still frustrated about this specific event and day, nothing could change me to take the unit test, but to just wing it.
Now, as I’m writing this story in my journal, I started to remember that I have never taken a test on any of the March 8th specifically, and my teacher grades the test the next day, the same day where I’m writing this story. SO … my point is that … would I get a decent grade?
We will see … Now, so if any of you who are related to me read this, please answer how you all feel about this specific event and specific day.
